I love working with people, bringing to life the magic of the everyday with real people in real locations.

In all projects I strive to create strong images with heart and soul which connect with the audience.

Whether I’m working with a brand to build an image collection or creating images for a licensing agency, I always think in campaigns and work with photographers to create strong playful narratives that have energy, spirit and flexibility of use.

Lifestyle

British Summer Time

Remember those long summer holidays that felt like they stretched on forever? Days full of ice cream, rollerskating, and hanging with your BFF all while rocking that cool summer style!

In this campaign photographer Dean Belcher and I wanted to capture the joy of those carefree days, we cast real friends and shot this staycation story in an East London park, It was a speculative project shot with a high street fashion brand in mind.

If you’re a lifestyle or fashion brand looking to create an authentic high energy campaign - get in touch.

Scottish Road Trip

The brief was to create imagery reflecting the experience of female travel in the UK - I came up with the idea of a ‘folksy, cottage core’ take on the classic road trip story.

We wanted to showcase the beauty of the Scottish landscape and lean into the reality that when you take a holiday in the UK, you can’t let the rain get in the way of a good time.

Our intention was that the final images should appeal to customers from a broad range of sectors from editorial, automotive, travel, fashion beauty and finance.

Community Swim

In this story the brief was to highlight the social and emotional connection forged through community and to authentically build in concepts such as individuality and support that banking and finance clients often need.

My idea was to show a group of active mid-life women coming together to stay fit and socialise. We cast a group of real friends in Margate who regularly get together for wild swimming in their local tidal pool.

When developing brand libraries I think like a designer as well as an art director - the images need to be versatile to be used in multiple formats and on multiple platforms. To balance authenticity with practicality is always on my mind. How can this image be cropped in multiple ways to fit different formats, is there space for copy or a logo if the usage calls for it.

Miyo. London

I art directed and shot this social campaign for the independent designer Miyo Yoshida to launch her new heavy cotton sweatshirt range. Her customers are hip, urban parents with fashion conscious kids and our aim was to show kids being kids all while still looking cool.

We cast a group of real friends from her local community to put the sweatshirts through their paces and created a suite of images which could be used across multiple platforms and campaigns.
